2010-11 FAITH FORMATION REGISTRATION CONTINUES
Registered parish households with children age 3–12th grade by September 1, 2010, should have received an information letter and pre-printed registration form in the mail. If you have not, please contact the parish office for a pre-printed form to register. Program descriptions, schedules, and other information are posted on the faith formation webpage, or a paper version is available by calling the parish office, 952-941-3150. The fee of $90/child is due with
the registration form. Scholarships are available.
Mental Health and Spirituality Group
If you are struggling with depression or some other mental / emotional challenge, please consider joining our "Mental Health and Spirituality Support Group." We have two licensed therapist volunteers who facilitate as we gather to share and pray for support of one another. We will meet bi-monthly on the first and third Thursday of each month, from 3:00 to 4:30pm at Pax Christi. If you have been diagnosed and are currently seeing a therapist, please consider this opportunity to give and receive support for your journey. This group is open to new members; however, you must contact Deacon Al Schroeder, 952-405-7205, before you can attend a meeting.
How Can We Keep From Singing?
This is your invitation to grow in faith and become part of a smaller community within the parish: music ministry. Our mission is to lead the assembly in its sung prayer. We are the part of the assembly that rehearses in advance of our worship in order to enable the participation of all.
Although each person (singer or instrumentalist) brings different gifts, different levels of musical skill, we grow together in our experience of working together.

I Say Yes Lord! – Opportunities for Adult Involvement in Faith Formation Ministries
Let this be the year you say "YES!" to growing in your own faith while helping the children and youth of Pax Christi experience God. We are looking for energetic, faith-filled adults to mentor our children and youth throughout this year. We especially need people who can make a weekly commitment to help with our Sunday or Wednesday evening programs (6:30-8:00pm). Additional time outside of the sessions is needed for planning and training. Participants must complete Virtus training, background check, and Code of Conduct as required by the Archdiocese. Childcare is available during sessions for all volunteers; faith formation tuition is waived for full time volunteers. Sign up forms are available on the website.

• Sunday School - Catechist Also a Youth Opportunity
Present weekly lesson to 8-10 children, working with planned curriculum. Training is provided. Interested in sharing faith and teaching 4-5 year old children. Contact Jane Schmitz, 952-405-7238, or jschmitz@paxchristi.com.
• Grade 1-6 Catechist Also a Youth Opportunity
Present weekly lesson to 10-12 students, working with planned curriculum. Training is provided. Interested in sharing faith and teaching students in grades 1-6. Contact Renee Dignan, 952-405-7212, or rdignan@paxchristi.com.
• Youth Ministry Team leaders (Grades 7&8, Grades 9-12)
Work with youth on a weekly basis; responsible for occasional preparation and presentation of material to large group (with other team members); facilitate small group discussions; actively inspire youth to live their faith; participate in occasional service and social activities with the youth. • Bibliophiles Wanted
Do you love to read? Come and join others as we plan the Advent Book Fair. Help is needed now to select book titles for the Fair, and more help is needed on December 4 and 5 for set up and to sell the books during the Holiday Boutique and after all Masses.
