Phone call on Wednesday, August 20 sent to all members regarding Capital Campaign update.

Hello. This is Father Kennedy. I want to let you know that last night the Community Council decided to have a Capital Campaign to renovate our worship space and deal with the mechanical issues we face throughout our present space. The goal for this campaign will be 8 million dollars. Maret and John Ryan have agreed to chair the Campaign. However, in consideration of the turbulent economic times all of us are trying to navigate through the campaign will begin one year from now in September 2009. Over the next year, preparations will continue and those working on the renovation committee and the upcoming campaign will be poised and ready to begin immediately after Labor Day next year. I am grateful to all of you who have contributed your time and talent to this effort thus far. I trust when we begin the campaign a year from now it will be very successful and help us to continue the mission and vision of Pax Christi long into the future.
